My family and I were visiting Balboa Park last Monday, and typically, we eat lunch at the Prado Restaurant. We didn?t know that the Prado was closed on Monday and surprised since it was summer. This is the first time in this restaurant. There was a long wait for lunch and we put our names on the waitlist. The restaurant has a bar that we can order first while we wait. A super cute cafe with quite a few vegan options, I got the lentil mushroom patty and it was super good!
I had low expectations for vegan food at Balboa Park so I was blown away by the food here. The fried cauliflower was amazing and the hummus board was flavorful.
