"Great value for money In connection with our holiday stay at the Hotel Sovestro near San Gimignano, we used restaurant Da Pode, which is part hotel and a restaurant. It was a fantastic experience. We ended up eating there several times. We tried several different dishes. They were all super prepared and tasty. In addition to this, the staff were top notch. Really good service, listened to our wishes, etc. There is also the possibility to drink the place 's own wines with the food It was really a good experience. Beautiful wines (and Grappa), there were both traditional and new wines on the menu. Perfect for the food. The restaurant is in the Michelin guide as a Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking. It serves delicious Tuscan cuisine. Thank you for some wonderful evenings in the Tuscan sunset, with wonderful food, service and wine."

"They have an AIC certification and a separate glutenfree menu. I did not see the kitchen space, but I'm pretty confident in their ability. They did not even want to put regular bread on my table (my partner does not have any problems with gluten) until I told them it was okay because I'm only highly sensitive, but not celiac. They even offered to prepare his meal glutenfree so I can have a bite of his. Very considerate staff. I would advise making a reservation as the outside seating area is packed during summer."
