What Rhonna Gwynn likes about Mee Heng Low Noodle House:
The food never disappoints. Their soups are savory, and filled with fresh vegetables. Their famous chow mein draws me back again and again. So: shrimp with ginger soy sauce, or pork with plum sauce, maybe black bean sauce and beef? There are no bad choices, and all are still served up on the chef's delicately seasoned, crisp noodle cake, garnished with fresh cilantro. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian or not, everything... The food was average, but WAY overpriced. A vegetarian bowl of lo mein is $14, and protein is extra. I didn't realize I was going to be paying $4 extra for pork or I would have gone elsewhere. $18 for a small portion of average lo mein from a fast casual restaurant?!? No thank you.
