What a great day we had a Grins. A group of college buddies getting together for a wonderful lunch, their were 18 of us. A larger group, we had our own...

Server was very nice. Onion rings were great. Of course the chicken fried steak was yum.

Not all that. Waited a really long time for a table that we could see was open. They told us 10min and we'd be seated. 15min later we could see the hostess...

If you want hearty food with great portions, come here. Try the broccoli cheddar soup!

Yummy home cooking style food. Can’t go wrong with the chicken fried steak and fried mushrooms!

"Good service and good food! The cheese or spinach enchiladas are good. The Fajitas are even better. Some dishes can be a little salty, so I wonder if they can adapt it to taste. But overall I had only good experiences at both Garcia locations in San Marcos."

"This is an excellent hidden gem, located close to I35 South that we enjoyed with 3 of our friends and family. The quality of the food served was excellent, for example the best steak I enjoyed in Texas recently besides Garrisons at the Fairmont. The service was also very attentive and appreciated. Only slight negatives were that we did not like the wobbliness of the 6 seat hightop, nor that the chef seems to enjoy garlic seasonings which perhaps is great for those who like garlic, but not for people like me who do not. Fortunately, I ordered my absolutely incredible steak without the black garlic butter (onion butter on the side instead). However, my wife ordered the salad with jumbo tiger shrimp, but did not realize those would also be served with garlic sprinkled on top. Even so, the meal was fantastic and still deserved 5 stars. Also, not to forget, the deserts were also out of this world. Safe to say this is our favorite local restaurant in addition to Mudbugs in Buda."
