We stayed in a minor at the Western hotel below half board, and one day we went to eat this establishment, which catches joto in front of us. "We arrived and the Manager (I think) was perfectly welcoming, genuinely lovely man with a sense of humour. This review is not a reflection of his professionalism. He helped us with the menu and shared a joke. However, as soon as he left, there was a palpable shift in atmosphere. The waiter (assistant manager) was clearly unhappy that we weren't prepared to follow a starter/main/desert programme. Apparently, tapas are only for starter in this restaurant, he couldn't have made that clearer. He then appeared to sulk his way through our order.. When our teenage son asked for no salad on his burger, the waiter had to make a comment about his order failing to include any healthy ingredients. Noble, but not necessary. When items were missed from the order, the waitress appeared to be annoyed with us/him/somebody???? The food was tasty and the ingredients were fresh, but the grilled monkfish lacked side dishes (one slice of potato was rather disappointing). This is the first time during our holiday that we have not felt able to leave a tip. Not sure who owns/manages this restaurant, but please train the front of house staff. Your chef knows what he/she is doing. Front of house, shambolic. Could be a case of sour grapes? They would have added to the grilled monkfish dish. It costs nothing to smile!"
