"We went here for my daughters graduation, the service was very slow and food was not worth the money. The wine list is very minimal. I had the chicken marsala, it was very lemony and the sauce was very runny. My husband had the special Mahi mahi, he said it wasn't so good."

"Came in today and had terrible service. I come here often and love it here because the people greet us and usually recommend a beer if we look indecisive. The service is usually great. Today my bf and I went to the counter and we both were not greeted and the lady just stared at us both, rather than ask us if we would like to order anything. She barely spoke two words to us. We ordered our beers, swiped our card, and that was it. All she said was Kay. Definitely going to come back in on the weekends and hope that it 's a better day."

"If you’re familiar with local surf lore or the movie Chasing Mavericks get yourself to Pleasure Pizza for a pie or slice. Flavors are good and slices enormous. A good amount of seating inside amidst surf memorabilia or outside with market lights, picnic benches, and counters for people watching. Parking can get a little tight as it shares the lot with a small market or save yourself the hassle and walk or bike over. Whatever you do, live like Jay. ???"

"The Cowboy Bar Grill was fantastic. Although it seemed a lot on arrival, we waited no more than 15 minutes for a nice table outside with plenty of space between the parties. Our waitress was beautiful, and the food we had accepted would have arrived fast. And it was best that we all enjoyed every bite. Thanks to CBG for a fantastic culinary experience."

"Love this place! Ambiance is boomy inside, but lots of patio space at wooden picnic tables. Corn hole and ping pong available. Lots of choices for beer, and really good tacos! I have not been disappointed by any of the food I had here. Great neighborhood vibe!"

"Although our server, Ali, was lovely, the host and other people at the door were extremely disorganized and rude, and even though we had a reservation we were told the only table available was right by the open front door on a freezing night. After keeping us waiting—standing—near the entrance for ten minutes while they checked to see if they could give us a warmer table, they finally seated us at a slightly better location. As the evening went on, none of the tables that they refused to offer us were filled. The restaurant was half-empty when we left. Feel that I should also mention we were 4 women... Food was adequate, atmosphere was acceptable, but not a good dining experience. Can 't recommend."

"I heard about the hype and thought I?d check it out. It?s great for being in downtown Santa Cruz. Parking was easy. The tacos come packed with meat. The chips are thick. I love a salsa bar but I thought their salsas were a bit too acidic. The spice level was great"
