What J G likes about Papaya Thai:
We had a large take out order (10-15 people) for a work lunch. I have never had Thai food before so I can not comment on whether this is the 'best ' Thai in the area, but I thought it was very good. Nothing was overly spicy, and everything was delicious. The Chief made sure that the food was still hot when I came to pick it up by heating it up just before I got there. Been to probably all Thai restaurants in the Monterey peninsula and believe this to be the best. Excellent food. Chef is from Thailand so it makes it authentic....

So I ordered a beef pad Thai while my boyfriend ordered a chicken pad ThaiThe taste was good but the spice level needs work.
