"A HUGE disappointment. We were not planning on a buffet. Perhaps it was our fault for not knowing it was Mexican Night but we saw nothing to let us know. As it was a Saturday evening during Spring Break, we felt we had little option but to stay. The price of $67/person was ridiculous. We have been staying at this resort for 20 years and have always found the food quality at El Meson/Talavera to be very good. This DID NOT meet our expectations. The Tortilla Soup was basically Tomato Soup. The fish was way overcooked. The Chicken Mole was completely tasteless. When the bill came, there was a 17% service charge added to it. Again, a surprise. We truly love the Hilton Los Cabos but this was not up to their usual standards."

"This is a family owned Husband and Wife team little eatery where the owner started out by serving his food to his friends. Very clean down to earth place in spite of the plastic tables and chairs you find in Costco. I think this type of food is equivalent to the American Casserole except they come in Clay pots. We pretty much ordered everything on the menu. Our favorite was the chicken and the egg plant. Good place to go for Lunch before hitting the beach or go shopping in the afternoon!"

"I experienced an Amazing Vegan culinary journey at Javier's. The chefs, waiters and the management of food and beverage went above and beyond to create innovative, flavorful tapas two evenings in a row for me. The presentation of the food was work of art!"

"We went to this restaurant looking for some good shrimp! We certainly found it. The service was excellent, we got a table outside and enjoyed our late night meal. I felt that the food was slightly expensive but it was a nice change from the resort food."

"This restaurant was recommended by my timeshare and it was within walking distance. My husband wasn't feeling well so I went to get something for myself for dinner. I ordered their chicken enchiladas with green sauce and they were amazing! It came with three good sized enchiladas, rice, beans, salsa, guacamole and sour cream. These were some of the best chicken enchiladas I've had. The portion was so large we ended up eating the rest for breakfast the day of our departure."

"Flora's Field Kitchen was recommended to us by a friend and we decided to give it a try. I had only heard about it the day before we left for our trip so had no idea what to expect.First off, the drive up is a little random and, honestly, a little scary. It's a winding dirt road kind of in the middle of nowhere. However, once we got to Flora's Farms we were in complete awe of the entire experience. There are several little shops to look at (and possibly even buy depending on your budget). Many of the stores were very expensive but still fun to window-shop. There was a cute soap/lotion/bath shop - everything smelled amazing in here if you're into that sort of thing. There was also a coffee/wine bar. We didn't try anything but the shop was very cute. Near the shops and restaurant there is a gate leads to little cottages that people can buy into and the fields where everything is grown. This is a beautiful area that you should definitely ask to tour. Finally, we got to the restaurant. It's a very modern-rustic space that is semi-indoor and mostly outdoor. Everything in the restaurant is fun to look at - the decor, the signs, the architecture, everything. There is even a grassy area for little ones to run around if they want. I don't usually comment on this, but the bathrooms were also very interesting. It felt like I was in a modern (and very clean) barn. Now to the food. First, everything they serve is harvested on the farm right there. We started with a Hibiscus Mezcal Margarita - honestly, it was one of the best margaritas I've ever had in my life. It was not too sweet, had just the right amount of alcohol and went down very smoothly. Then we ordered the burrata. It comes on a piece of toast with arugula. Note that the toast does come with an aioli sauce spread on top (which I'm not a fan of). So if you're like me and not into mayonnaise you might want to ask them to put it on the side. The burrata; however, was amazing! Then it was time for another drink. This time we tried the Mango Margarita. It was very good but I wish I would have stuck with the hibiscus because it just didn't have the same kick. If you like mango, I would say to give it a try. Then for my entree I had the 1/2 rotisserie chicken. It was huge! It was a seriously large portion and tasted amazing. It was honestly the most moist chicken I've ever eaten. You wouldn't think something as simple as chicken could have so much flavor but Flora's Field Kitchen has figured it out. It came with mashed potatoes on the side. They were great but I tried not to eat too much because I wanted to enjoy the chicken.Another person I was traveling with ordered the Margarita Pizza. It was super simple but also tasted very good.We opted to skip dessert because there was an ice cream cart right outside that we wanted to try instead. The ice cream was incredible. I'm a simple guy and opted for plain ol' vanilla. Like everything else here, it was the best vanilla ice cream I've had. They also had a banana sorbet that was to die for. This was honestly one of our Cabo highlights. I highly recommend you give it a try - just don't forget to make a reservation first. Also, we stayed in the tourist corridor and it was about a 30 minute drive. So if you're staying in the heart of Cabo expect travel to be about 45 mins to an hour."
