It's a safe place to stay. It's kept clean. The rooms are a little small, but you have a fridge and a good bathroom for the Dominican Republic standards. What User doesn't like about Nilka Boutique:
Booked by booking.com, at check in 6PM on a Thurs night was told cash only, was given wifi code only to learn latter wifi was not working despite three people in the room was only able to get one key. Room was clean but one sheet had a large hole. The one bright star was the complimentry breakfast. View all feedback.

Picturesque area that reminds you of old world meets colonialism.
Great price-service ratio, bed comfortable, room very clean, everything you need for buissiness stay, exept the no credit card policy. Wich I recommend you to add, still five stars !
The experience here was great. They have a remarkable service and their premises were neat at all times. The commodities offered were a great plus. I will definitely go back, they have the best value for what they offer.
I booked this hotel for three nights but due to the fact that I was short on cash, I cut the stay to two nights. The staff was OK with my request. The room is comfortable and the breakfast is hearty. Lovely staff and very careful management. Samana deserves an upscale accommodation like this.
If you're here to see the whales, this hotel is in a great location with an amazing breakfast included. I highly recommend
