"Gone way down hill. Used to love this place. Last visit ruined it. Was looking forward to overflowing fries (after all its $7.29 for a large fry) the cup only 2/3 full. They were out of mushrooms, onions, banana (shake), half the soda flavors. Fries were soggy/oily. And to top it off, got my order wrong so it had no toppings (just meat and cheese) even though I ordered it “all the way”. Never going back to this location."

"I've come here before. I love the pumpkin curry. The rice is always good. I'm between the paychecks and the Vet Hall pantry is two days away, so yesterday I went in and had only 5 dollars left and just needed some rice to get me through the working day. She gave me big side of rice and a bunch of sauce and napkins and fork in a bag neat and polite, saving me outrage and hunger. I am incredibly grateful for their all-American and beautiful Thai culture that they share, along with masterfully prepared food that is tasteful, fun and nourishing. Thank you for Pacific Thai for a part of the Santa Cruz community and share your love and kindness in these hard times."

"The soup is mediocre, sometimes I want it for lunch on a cold day. But, I don't think they have HVAC in there and it is always cold. Today I went in by myself as I often do, and they showed me to a table. I asked if I could sit at the next table over (the table they gave me was very small and right on the main walkway for everyone) and they showed me another table buried toward the back of the restaurant. I said that's fine, you can save all the tables for your other customers. There was maybe 1 other person in there, at 2:00. I doubt I'll ever go back, as much as I want to like this place the service is abysmal and the food isn't much. I think the only way they survive is that they are the only asian soup joint in SC."

"The frozen chocolate drink here is honestly life changing. If I could give this place 6 stars I would! I believe everyone in the world would benefit from experiencing this decadent euphoric beverage at least one in their life. In addition because Mutari uses a coconut cream base, all the drinks are dairy free +vegan which is a great plus for somebody trying to find an intimate desert alternative for a date. One sip of this drink and you will feel pampered, cured, and deeply connected with your inner child."

"In Santa Cruz for the weekend with the girls. We decided to go to buttery for breakfast. Everything was fantastic from the vegetable frittata to the almond milk latte and the gluten-free coconut macaroon was simply delicious. I also picked up a few goodies for my husband which he has not tried yet but I'm sure that he will love them."
