I visited this bar every day on my trip to madeira. beyond the beautiful view, stunning decor, chic furniture, very friendly bar staff and great wlan. amazing selection of drinks and a daily happy hour. the bar also has live music every night that was very...good! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Capoeira:
What a waste of a great location. The food offering is way too limited and basic, toasted sandwiches or toasted sandwiches, where is the imagination, the creativity, and the ambition to make this a proper complement to the rest of this stunning hotel What a...waste of a view. No atmosphere, no unique selling point, just a sensational view over a toastie View all feedback.
Had a short bite and the sandwich was huge! it came with some veggie chips that were also super.
Called into the new Capoeira Bar for a drink and a snack whilst on holiday in Caniço de Baixo and couldn’t be more disappointed. We were presented with a snacks menu with a choice of toasted sandwiches and types of ice cream sundae.. however there was only cheese and chicken (paste sandwiches available and no sundaes (despite there being a freezer full of ice cream). When we ordered two cheese sandwiches we were then told there was only one available! We just had our drinks and left. This is surprising as the bar is open for snacks from to how are they going to manage from with only one cheese and a few chicken sandwiches. Very poor, Will definitely not be returning which is a shame as this used to be one of our favourite places for lunch.
Beautiful bar with an amazing location. great service and fantastic happy hour offers. we will definitely come back! good selection of cocktails

Staying at the hotel and visiting the bar a few times it is currently opening from 4 a.m. There is a happy hour of 5 6pm with half-priced beer/wine/sangria. From the terrace you get a great view, but it can get hot, with the sun directly down, there is also a lot of interior. At the far end is where the entertainers set up and play in the evening and a list of actions is published in advance. The snack range is mainly limited to a few toasties (see my picture) and ice cream, but most people come for a drink, the view and evening entertainment.
