"We visited with great expectations given the TA reviews, but were underwelmed. The owner was very helpful and the service was good, but the choice of dishes was uninspiring compared with other tapas we have had. We chose Cod Crocketts which came sprinkled with cinnamon... not on the menu along with the cheese which we chose with palm honey and cinnamon if only we had known about the cod! . The third dish was prawns in garlic but none of the prawns had the intestinal tract removed and some were very unclean so we removed the tract before eating. The portion size was not excessive as per other reviews but ample for 2. A saving grace was the house wine which was served in 1/2 L or 1L volumes very reasonable price and emantly drinkable. Family run restaurant, but somewhat disappointing despite the prices, and not for the foodies amongst us."

"Best place we visited for legit local food in Tenerife. The potatoes were from heaven! Delicious green and red typical local sauces. Amazing seafood and meat. Sweet sweet Uruguayan dessert. Ask him! Great, professional, friendly and helpful staff give recommendations for tourists who want to try local taste. Must go there specifically when you are in Santa Cruz!"
