What allanmacuk doesn't like about El Rincon De Tono:
Off the tourist track, and popular with locals, this family run Tasca serves a limited menu and do not speak English! We ordered Carne Fiesta (a decent plate of various grilled meats) and a Cod Chickpeas dish that even a cavernous male could not finish. At €21 for the lot, including 3 beers, it was certainly good value for money. A good spot to experience eating out the way the locals do, at non-tourist prices! View all feedback.
This is a great place, it is a shame that the that the name in Tripadvisor is not correct, the correct name is El Rincón de TOÑO the squiggle over the Ñ is important in written spanish as it changes the pronunciation of the name, Having said this, we stopped for snack before going to the theatre nearby. We chose three tapas to share between us with a glass of wine each, all excellent, we had croquetas, pirulitos, and langostinos, all freshly cooked and well presented, the wine was not your average plonk and a decent glass size, we finished with coffee and although I didn't see the bill, I am sure it was very reasonable from the prices in the menu.
Creative tapas A wonderful time ! All is so good!!! A really wonderfully chief And the service is perfect :
I recently went to El Rincón de Toño with friends for a birthday lunch. They made the whole event feel special and provided excellent service. The food was creatively displayed and tasted amazing, they put a lot of care and attention into the details. Loved it!
