What User likes about Cafe Castro:
A great friendly, family run, authentic New Mexican restaurant. Pet friendly, not just on the patio but inside as well. Tasty food and good service at a reasonable price. I've never even heard of sopaipillas until I tried one stuffed with carne adobado, but I'll certainly order them again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cafe Castro:
I've always loved Castro's...until this weekend. Apparently the dad use to make all the red chile (when it was delicious) and now it is absolutely disgusting, seriously not edible. The chile was over seasoned I couldn't taste the chile, all I could taste was garlic... the posole and Spanish rice tasted as it was doused in oregano, but I couldn't see it. I'm going to say no taste test was done! Definitely not the same... View all feedback.
