What User doesn't like about Silver Moon Cafe:
eating was average, but not excellent. my son had a margarita that was so salty that it was not drinkable. they took it off. there is not much more in this area, so it is a good option if they are going through and hungry. servier sizes were generous and chips and salsa were good. This by far is one of the most wonderful places my husband and I have had the opportunity to enjoy, the flavors were absolutely amazing we asked about the cooks and we learned it was only 2! A husband and wife Team!
Fantastic!!! There is a nice shop with local merchandise for sale inside of the restaurant. All of the people working here are so sweet and we received great friendly service. The food was amazing!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. There is a large menu and daily specials.
Great restaurant on historic Route 66 in Santa Rosa, NM. Attentive, friendly service. Huge menu of Mexican, American, and Italian food. Food was plentiful and delicious. Fun gift shop with homemade fudge too!
Stranded in Santa Rosa overnight due to ice/snow storm. Lucky to find an open restaurant! Attention to detail in both service and food preparation. Margaritas delish! Staff were plenty, efficient, and friendly. The hostess (owner? had a bias of who got to sit first no matter your place in line… that was uncool. Would have appreciated an explanation versus her insistence. She held the upper card as McDonalds was the only other option… we opted not to buy any of the tourist merchandise in turn.
This restaurant is not only beautiful, but the food is also delicious. I ordered the green chile blue maize enchiladas, and they were amazing! I typically shy away from beans, but I figured there was no better place to try them than here. Wow, was I right! Everything was seasoned perfectly, creating a wonderful blend of flavors. My friend ordered the green chile stew, and we both loved our meals. The portions were generous as well. Our server was enthusiastic and attentive, but not overly intrusive. This is definitely a great spot to visit when you're in town!
