We visited for a Sunday morning traditional breakfast (Arequipa style) with the Adobo Soup and chicharrones, both pork dishes. This is a must try… the Adobo soup is delicious and the portion extremely generous and the chicharrones were crispy but tender inside! We were even treated to a taste of the chicha de jora drink! What leopoldobuendia doesn't like about Restaurante el Rocoto:
What you get here is regular peruvian food at a high price. In my opinion there's no special reason to come here, you can have similar kind of food for half the price almost in any restaurant in town. Rocoto relleno has just a few pieces of meat and the side order had too much anise.
