"We arrived at 2pm for the famous seafood experience. We were quoted a one hour wait time, but were seated within 45 mins for a party of three. The ambience is amazing, with all covered outside seating in a rustic environment. It was a chilly spring day, but heaters were available to all. We ordered one of everything seafood on the menu. The grilled octopus served similar to a fajita was the highlight. Ceviches were great, as well as the crab causa. Has rating for a reason, but this is excellent Peruvian food. A must visit. And check out the pix.....look who I met and shook hands with during my Sep 23 visit."

"The hotel staff at Melia Lima recommended this place and it was a great choice. We went there for the Cuy- which was just as expected. The service was excellent. The food was of high quality and yet traditional. The locals loved this place- so it's highly recommended and as a tourist and american- the food was as described = good and full of local flavors. The staff was attentive. The place was clean, open, stylish. High end restaurant in Lima."

"My wife, the children and I went to Pollos Hikari in Rímac Lima. The service was very good and the pollo a la brasa was very good. Pollo a la brasa is best in Peru without discussion. I would recommend people to try pollo a la brasa when they visit Peru."

"The Papacho's is so much more than only hamburgers of which they are mostly known. Relax, beer, drinks and the hamburgers are great and surprising, but ALL the food is good. Excellent place to wait even with kids while your missus does the shopping in Jockey Mall. I recommend the Charapita wings. (Alitas charapita)"

"But of course when in Peru I chose for the famous lomo saltado which was delicious with lovely taste. You could taste the smell of the flames in the dish. My companions chose for causa de lomo. You need to know how to get here which is more easy when you have family or friends living here. As for a dessert I chose tempura de helado which is a crispy outside with vanilla ice cream inside. I can recommend. All fairy to cheap priced."
