Island House Taqueria from Sarasota County Menu

What Antonio Q likes about Island House Taqueria:
They have rebranded this honey hole of a taqueria in the past several months. Same owner, new name, Casa Masa. This is not your typical taqueria....we're talking gourmet level tacos here. Aside from the usual taco fare.... carne asada, birria, al pastor, pollo....they also offer some eclectic tacos for the adventurous taco afficianado. Ex: Octopus, Elk Al Pastor, Poached Butter Lobster, Barbacoa Lengua, and on rare o... read more.

In nice weather you can even eat in the outdoor area, And into the accessible spaces also come clientele with wheelchairs or physical limitations.

What Mic P doesn't like about Island House Taqueria:
I hate to leave bad reviews but these tacos were absolutely horrendous I don't know what in the hipster white people is going on here ... Chicken head zero flavor and all in all just had a taste I've never even tasted in a taco in my life I don't think I've ever had a taco I didn't read more.

Anticipate the varied, fine Mexican cuisine, which is usually prepared with corn, beans and chilies (hot peppers).

"The food is great. Delivery service was not amazing. Dropped off the food at the front office. They took a pic and sent it to me but I?ve only been there one time. When we Checked in. So, the big grey bin in the photo did not help. They?re about 5 aroundthe establishment .. Like I said, the food was great.. But, If I order que?o and a sampler platter. I expect chips, pita crisppoints, veggies .. or really anything .. Multiple dips/sauces ordered.. That in itself was highly disappointing."
