Tasty Home Cookin - Sarasota

A small family-owned restaurant where community members meet and share friendship and homemade food. Locals visit this place and bring family members to enjoy the kitchen. Everyone is greeted with open arms and treated like family. They also support the community with donations for local families in need.

Next time I will take a picture. Those were Not breakfast potatoes they were burnt chips. I would never try to give these to a paying customer. Other then that I still love the place.

The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and we were seated right away. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!

This restaurant reminds me of an old diner in a shopping mall at the corner of Tuttle and Bee Ridge. I love it because it brings back memories of yesteryear. The staff here are friendly and welcoming, often greeting customers by name with a beautiful smile. They offer daily specials, and in fact, they display all the month's dinner specials on the board (see attached picture). The food is homemade, and the prices are very reasonable (see photo of the menu). Although it can get busy, I've never had to wait long for my food. If you're looking for a place that feels like going back in time and serves delicious, home-style meals at a great price, I would definitely give this restaurant a solid 5 stars.
