"Ate lunch both days here while I was in Saumur … so good! Delicious and creative, with bursts of flavors not as common in France … the menu is definitely influenced by its Colombian roots with notes of citrus, coconut, coleslaw, and cumin/coriander/turmeric. The fish (hake) with coconut cream rice, and then fried chicken sandwich were both fantastic and beautifully presented. The staff (English, Spanish, French speaking hostess) are friendly and welcoming … helped me choose different local wines!"

"Saumur isn't short of cafes but this is my favourite. By the second visit the barrista remembered our names! Good coffee, freshly squeezed juices and cakes. Spotless and fully disabled toilet too. Recommended."

"Very good restaurant, located in a pleasant and luxurious setting. The room is impeccable, well lit. We feel like home. The staff is qualified, attentive and knows their products. The plates are good, well presented, generous and the products have taste. The beers are successful even if the recipes are simple. A small complaint for the extra steak, I don't mind paying extra but it was very thin (2cm thick . Maybe detail them differently? I highly recommend, it's worth the detour. :"

"Simply the best place in Saumur to dine at lunchtime and evening if you enjoy a really good steak perfectly cooked and with great service. Plenty of choice, very pleasant surroundings, great wine and food consistently good."

"À l'arrivée, on a été légèrement laissé de côté pendant 5 minutes avant d'être placé sur la terrasse. Cependant, une fois placé, les pizzas étaient excellentes, et le service de très bonne qualité. Je recommande vivement !"

"We decided to eat here as it was a bit different being on the water from the usual restaurant location. It was a very pleasant experience made extra special by being treated to a wonderful sunset. The menu is limited but the dishes were well presented and all were local specialties. Everything was very tasty, served with a smile and overall great value for money."

"Somehow we find this place when we are ready for a drink, and cake naturally. small inner seat surface. service excellent as the choice of sweet and hearty products. our fourth visit since the first visit to saumur over 30 years ago and certainly not our last."
