"We realize that staffing must be short, but service was not good, didn't receive even a refill of water. We've been dining at the Crystal Room for 15 years and have enjoyed it. This last time, the menu selection was way too small. The food was good, but not at the level we've experienced in the past and what should be produced at a resort of this level. We will certainly return and will hope for the best."

"I discovered Jean Bonnet Tavern after leaving the 93 Memorial Flight in Shanksville. On the Lincoln Highway (AKA US 30), Jean Bonnet Tavern has an interesting history. Food and drink for travellers and locals since 1780, it was built on the only road, the eastern Pennsylvania with the Ohio river and territories beyond. The tavern became a meeting place for the farmers who were involved in the whiskey rebellion. In the middle of 1794 the Pennsylvania farmers met, annoyed by the federal tax on whisky, and raised a pole of freedom in protest. In October 1794, the troops raised by President George Washington camped on their western journey to destroy the resurrection. Tavern is a real street house with a bar and restaurant on the ground floor and accommodation on the second floor. When I ate there, the service was very good and friendly. I sat on the surrounding veranda which overlooks the valley and had the French onion soup and one side of steam vests and they were perfectly fixed. Also some local penns. Beers. If you are a history buffalo or, as in my case, a hungry history buffalo that turned a Wee bit on a road trip after an unplained detour, the Jean Bonnet Tavern makes a pleasant and tasty waypoint."

"What has Burger King done to their French Fries and Onion Rings? I have always bragged up these items, however, the fries were long and thin; the rings were so covered in batter that you couldnt tell they were rings, and, neither of them were seasoned! The Large size Fish Sandwich was soggy! The drinks were ok. I hope the fries and rings were just not prepared correctly and future orders will be back to the way I have been ordering them for years."
