What Wendell Nitzsche doesn't like about City Squire:
I wish I could give you a review of the drinks or food, but we didn't even make it that far. From the moment we stepped inside, the manager was extremely rude and unwelcoming. The energy of a restaurant and the waitstaff starts from the top and the manager did not set a good example for his staff on how to treat customers. They lost the business of 16 people, during what appeared to be a slow time (before a dinner ru... View all feedback.
Clean and beautiful ambiente. Eat has good portions and taste, not too salty or oily. the seats in the open are particularly beautiful.

Don't take my word to get it down and try it. they will not be disappointed!
Sat on Saturday with mama to eat too soon. it was nice that they had a parking lot (heavy, sometimes in schenectady) that interieur loved it. we sat near the bar at one of the low tables, (mom can’t hand the high tops). nicole was the bartender and server and welcomed us with a friendly smile and attitude. we had to start the cheese curds. very crispy on the outside and most cheeked quality on the inside. loved the honey drop for this hauch of sweet. I had the goat cheese sandwich and mother had fish and chips both very tasty and plentiful and had to ask for boxes to house. great beer selection and mother loved the peanut butter martini. the atmosphere was pleasant and had a graceful bar feeling. will return definitiw. nicole made our experience very special. Thank you!
It was good on Saturday afternoon. the first time here. space was clean. had a lot, but not hammered. nicole took care of us in the bar. She was on her game and great. Thanks for coming back. Oh, the reuben was delicious.
It was a blustery Friday before a much awaited teacher break. My friend and I sat at the bar and had lively, friendly conversation with the bartender. We had a few beers and an appetizer of waffle fries with beer cheese, bacon, and fried eggs.I'm bias to the food of the former City Squire, but I'm coming around to the new one.
