"Nittenau. A small town with not even 10000 inhabitants. Compared to Regensburg really small, but what we have served today was very big, not small and then so good! The ambience was very appealing, thoughtful and much more appealing than the ubiquitous industrial style simply warmer. As appetizers we had a Pho Bo, Summerrolls and Spring Rolls. The Pho was very aromatic, the beef tender, tastefully simple round. Nothing is upset, nothing has somehow thought to taste asian (in contrast to Maggi bovine broth with anis). Simply very fine, homemade, round and as an appetizer more than sufficient. The Summerrolls were fresh, the Hoisindip legendary. The spring also rolls, a dream. The most important food we enjoyed sharing. Every food tasted excellent and different (this is not self-evident). Thai basil and coriander in the right amount and not intrusive. The service was also attentive, attentive and very friendly. We will definitely arrive from Regensburg was worth 100%."

"Wir, 4 Erwachsene waren am 6.1.2017 zum Mittag Essen im Gasthaus Schmidt Bräu.. es gab wie immer leckere gut bürgerlich bayerische Küche.. Wir hatten 2x die Gänsebrust mit selbst gemachtem Blaukraut, 1x Schweinshaxn und 1x Schnitzel.. die Portionen waren reichlich, der Preis mehr als aktzeptabel und Allen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Ein extra Lob in die Küche.. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen immer gerne zum Schmidt Bräu um uns dort mit gutem Essen verwöhnen zu lassen."

"A hotel where you feel comfortable when entering. Very friendly staff takes you in reception and gives you the feeling good to have arrived. Even the question whether you want to have a bottle of water for the room completes the reception (which was also free but a bottle opener in the room would still be nice). The room was partially refurbished and modern furnishings. Even a tablet with all the information about the hotel, games, tips for the surroundings as well as internet are available in the rooms. The room was clean this is pure formality at this point. It wasn't different to expect. The bathroom is not as modern as the room but functional and clean. The dinner was excellent and also here was the service and quality as in the other areas great. Incomprehensible came to me only when I saw that my beer came from an industrial brewery from the Bavarian capital. In a region full of small and excellent private breweries would still be “air up”. Breakfast is an experience! Here there are not the typical sausages and cheese plates like in hotels, but wonderfully preserved breads that can be ordered individually. The eggs are also freshly prepared and cooked to the point! Great! However, here also a small “critic point” that I do not understand in the context of this excellent breakfast: the eggs are only category “2” Eggs, though from a local producer. Category “0” would be better for your overall offer! In any case, however, there are 5 stars I forgive because 4 would be too little. I felt very comfortable and will come back!"
