Contribute Feedback What Susan S likes about Jedburgh Woollen Mill:
I recently visited Edinburgh Woolen Mill and I have to say they have the best sandwiches I have ever tasted! Their scones are also to die for. Unfortunately, I was too late for breakfast, but I will definitely be back to try it next time. The clothes at both the Jedburgh and Edinburgh mills are beautiful and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant often. View all feedback.
What Smoggylad123 doesn't like about Jedburgh Woollen Mill:
We stopped here recently as we were passing through, wondered why the place was almost empty on a weekend. The food was all frozen and then cooked, nothing fresh and was edible and that was about all. The staff didn't seem to have much of a clue about anything but the big shocker was £1.20 for a single slice of Bread and Butter really..... that is absolutely outrageous, and 5p a sachet of sauce. Needless to say next... View all feedback.
Was having a lovely Christmas drive and it was pouring with rain so we thought let's go somewhere with a carpark so we won't get soaked. Breakfast was tasteless someone was checking the food temps with a thermometer before serving as if they weren't sure the food was ok? Got the breakfast and wanted some butter with my toast but apparently you have to pay extra for the butter that I wanted to put on the dry toast I ordered. Wth is wrong with this place, if people are using this as a toilet and you spending to much on toilet paper then put a sign up telling everyone that you have to charge for condiments to warn them not to come in..... Outrageous.
My family and I each ordered lentil soup and shared a plate of chips. The soup was terrible, very watered down and lacking in flavor. The chips were decent. We will not be returning in the future. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
Very poor egg sandwich. All mayonnaise and virtually no egg it seemed. What there was was very very finely chopped. My friend had good soup and the coffee was fine.

As a regular visitor, I have none of the complaints of some one- time visitors below. The restaurant aims to give travellers a reasonable choice of quick meals/ snacks, with toilets and the possibility of tourist gifts if desired. With excellent and friendly service, what more do you need en route to your final destination, if you don't have the desire or time to go into town to find similar restaurants? Catering at times for large numbers of bus tours often unannounced!? , maybe we could cut the staff some slack if errors occur, and actually show some gratitude for service given!
