I should have written a review immediately after dining at this spot so my memory was a little more clear. All I can say is, WOW. I'm not a fan of Indian food, but this place made me one. Get the garlic Naan! View all feedback.
What Natalie Gordon doesn't like about Al Hamra:
While we very much like their food, had a terrible experience this evening with customer service. Ordered directly through their website, upon arrival was told it had not registered and had to wait another 20 minutes for the food. So lesson to apparently use DoorDash instead of their website in the future. Would have been appropriate to be offered wine for the inconvenience, but they did not. Then about 6 min after d... Went to Al Hamra today with a group of 8 and it was clean, spacious and had an amazing vibe. The food was to die for. We had the lamb dish, chicken Tikka masala, butter naan, ginger chicken and amazing samosas. The food was exquisite and the customer service was above and beyond. My favorite was their tea at the end of the night. It's a half milk and half tea combination and it was delicious. The owner made us feel so welcome and he was so hospitable. I will definitely be going back to support this business and highly recommend it.
I absolutely love this gem of an Indian place...each and every dish is amazing.Great take -out but also as dine in.I almost don't want people to know but the owners deserve the accolades...
We were traveling for business and we wanted some Indian food. We looked up this location and traveled to it. When we arrived, we were received with a warm welcome and shown to our seats. We then had a good discussion with the waiter. He recommended a few things and we took him at his word. It was all delicious. We had Lamb Makhani with a medium spice level and cilantro lime rice. We also had the Chicken Biryani with butter garlic naan bread. This is a place I would go back to again either on a business trip or for pleasure.
I may be too stuffed of delicious food to verbalize the deliciousness of the experience I just had.We think they may serve the best lentil soup we've ever had (3 peeps opinions), and it says it's organic!I can say that is the best garlic Naan I've ever had. Perfectly crispy, yet fluffy thick, but still thin and nicely buttered with a reasonable amount of garlic. The rice was also perfect. The 3 entrées were completely devoured, and my friend said the lamb was cooked perfectly, and the chicken meat is all white meat. The service was great, and the establishment was very clean and classy.I look forward to returning.
