had a great time. our waiter board was very good at not rushing us and took some group photos of us. Calamari app was really delicate and tasty. shrimp tacos were a bit hot with jalapeños sauce, but all other dishes were great. will be back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Vig Mccormick Ranch:
eating was pretty good. but the controls were wrong when they were presented to the 3 pairs. we also have for happy hour there, but they neglect the happy hour prices for our drinks and apps. View all feedback.
Should have known when a greeter wasn't at the door for 7 minutes to seat us that the rest of the service would be pathetic. Btw, it took an additional 5 minutes after seeing us waiting. Let's start from the top.Brunch place, yet no freshly squeeze juice of any kind. No espresso, so no real coffee.Ordered steak and eggs. The amount of food you get equates to one egg, one small to medium potato, 5 slivers of steak, and burnt toast. $8 worth of food.Didn't get a steak knife for our steak. Asked for midrare, but steak was Completely rare.Asked for butter for the toast. Butter was frozen. The bald waiter stopped by 3 times ONLY. The girl that brought out our food gave us more service than he did.Never touching this place again. You deserve nothing of a tip for abysmal service.
So disappointed in this place.. we waited 40 mins for our food. When we got it the chicken looked like it was boiled, literally, I wish I was being dramatic. There was no seasoning on it at all. My salad was wilted. The waitress seemed like she was serving every table at the restaurant so we waited until she finally came back around to get our check after being there for an hour for bad food. Then waited another 10 mins to get our change while she kept checking on other tables. Save yourself some time and don’t order food here. The ambiance is nice, maybe the drinks are good? We won’t be coming back though.
We were there for Father's Day and we got one of the last specials they had. It was a very good value and they let us share a plate (we are seniors and can't eat as much anymore). We ordered appetizers and dessert as well and the food was outstanding. It was our first time eating there and a spotlight on the news brought us there. We noticed the patio is pet friendly, which is a plus and the atmosphere was very nice. We will be back.
Great place centrally located. Nice vibe. Professional and friendly staff. Food was good, but not crazy about the plates food is served on. Dark, slate, flat with an edge...not conducive to the appetite. Hard to scoop up food that spreads. Please consider alternative serving vessels.
It was our first time dining here, and we enjoyed the experience! Will be back!
