"My husband and I dropped by for lunch on Monday. My husband had tried the Hot Local Burger a couple of months ago, while he found it nice, it didn't wow him. We came here to give it another chance. Both of us ordered the Big Cheese $9.8, one of which in a meal combo. The Big Cheese is your stock standard beef patty cheese burger. I do agree with other reviewers pointing out that charging $1 for tomatoes is a bit cheeky, considering it's pretty stock standard burger filling. The store wasn't too busy and the wait time was OK. "We keep returning to Bobs because -- well because they really are Melbourne's best burgers! The patties are all beef -- thick and juicy and everything else about the experience is just first class. Gluten free rolls are brilliant (this really is the place to go for a burger if you are gluten free) and you can avoid onion (if you need to) as there is no onion in the patties. Thank you Bob! It is such a busy place -- you have to book. And yes, they are pricey burgers, but worth every cent and you're paying for what you get!"

"A good friend of ours recommended this cafe to us, so we had to check it our for ourselves! I headed in for lunch with the two kids and was warmly welcomed! We were offered a cosy booth table towards the back which had ample...room for the pram and a high chair. Staff attended to us promptly with menus and an order for a baby chino and coffee. My daughter is dairy intolerant and we can often find it difficult to work with some kitchens to make changes to the menu! This was not a problem for them at all. Our waiter was very quick and thorough with chatting with the kitchen to assist us. Our drinks arrived quickly, which is great when you've got a young child to occupy at a cafe. We ordered the burger bao and vegetarian loaded fries. Both of these dishes arrived promptly, along with side plates for the kids to share! The absolute winner for me was the bao burger. I'm no stranger to burgers at all, or baos, but who ever thought to combine the two together is a genius! It was absolutely to die for! I had my son wanting more! The loaded fries were yummy and the kids enjoyed most of it. I was definitely trying pushing them to eat the beans!! It was nicely balanced. Next time I return, I think I'll add some smashed avo on top! Staff continued to be attentive throughout and it was no big deal when he accidentally knocked over the end of his babychino! I'll definitely be back, because I've got a few items on the menu to try! They offer a great mix of naughty and nice options, so there's no guilt on returning multiple times. They are very welcoming to kids, so this makes it easier for me to get back!"
