Had lunch here for the first time in years and the food was superb. I had the rib-eye which was perfectly grilled, perfectly cooked, and perfectly rested. Partner had fish and chips which sounds ordinary but was delectable with perfect battering and cooking time. What User doesn't like about The Riviera Hotel:
Never been before as from the road it only looks like a drive through bottle shop. Around the back is a large car park and what would be the main entrance. We all ordered from the seniors menu. I had the slow cooked lamb and my wife the salmon. Good basic pub food and plenty of it for the price. Service was good. Riviera is a must go have a meal there place. We have been twice in a short time, the meals are first class, very reasonably priced, the staff can not do enough for you, and the service is tops. I meant to take some photos but forgot so next time. Anyway, check it out yourself. You won't be sorry.
Compliments the Chefs!.. A very quick reminder on Undercooking Cooking Vegies (Carrots). Chips would be more enjoyable if they were Cooked longer, No so pale in colour. Fri staff not so friendly, lst question was have you made a booking instead of Hi or Welcome. Stopped for lunch. Pokies pub with somewhat desperate atmosphere. Staff very helpful. Food at best average.
A great local that we enjoy going to. We usually go to the sports bar but have also eaten in the bistro as well, staff are always friendly. Food is tasty and fair prices. The play area is smaller and could do with an upgrade and if they ever get approved for a roof top bar, that would be a real hit.
