"Such a great spot! Don't be swayed but the ratty exterior, as the interior is smartly decorated and quite dim. It's the perfect spot for a romantic date.<br/ <br/ I am not a big degustation guy, but Deer Duck's is definitely worth eating. We did the five course with wine, which was a good amount of food (we left satisfied, but not stuffed). The menu is constantly changing, so I won't speak to the specific plates, but the food was on the sweeter side of the spectrum and not a single dish was salty. <br/ <br/ The service was fantastic- the food and wine servers knew their product well and did an excellent job of speaking to each dish/glass.<br/ <br/ I eagerly await my return visit!"

"Around my place of work are a number of coffee shops and restaurants catering to a large number of office workers and tradepersons and they all vie for your business. i used to go to the Defiant Duck to have a takeaway coffee, or to sit in and for informal meetings. The coffee is good however the service is slack and I constantly find myself at odds about continuingto frequent the place. In the end even good coffee cannot replace poor service."

"Beautiful mood and very romantic, feels like they were in melbourne and we thought we were for a real tasty, but unfortunately. that was not the case. we had the long menu and chose our own red wine. we started with harry's magarita cocktails, which were really too sweet, and I couldn't finish what happened to me often with a margarita. no apologies from the waiter and while they were attentive, the employees were not all equal and some were very inexperienced. they have a nice selection of weeping and we really enjoyed the henschke shiraz. we were impressed by the sommelier as she was very good, but she is really experienced for this place. eating was good under the price, beautifully presented, served all cold, tiny portions and the aromen were incredibly cut, bland and missing lust. the oysters from tasmania were simply in order. every cure was very average and unforgettable. the sweetness could really shine more here, as the flesh was the main character of each teller. the courts were all very small and we were disappointed after each cure only hope that it would be better. our favourite course was the disappointment in a lens curator, but our overall experience was incredibly disappointing as we expected so much more from deer duck bistro. the desserts were ridiculously sweet and disappointing for an adult palate. we get the impression that the chef doesn't taste eating. we left with a very big bill (600 for 2 people with a beautiful bottle red) and we went hungry to house. we will never return."

"The young waiter seems to hate his job. they must ask 2 or more times for wine glasses, water, water glasses and ice cups. it takes forever to come and take their order. but it is very fast to notice when you catch water and water glasses yourself. if it wasn't that good, I wouldn't go back."

"Love these guys, authentic Chinese Malaysian food. The duck is fantastic, great price, good vibe. Simple quality food done well. The prawn dumplings were unbelievably good! Classic Asian style simple setup, don't judge by bells and whistles, judge by quality of the food!"

"We chose Three Blue Ducks because we had not been to the Brisbane establishment and wanted a special occasion with friends we had not seen for many years. When we exited the elevator we were met with an overpowering sewage odour which wafted through the restaurant for the whole afternoon. We were told it was due to low tide on the river and I felt there should have been a plan B to mitigate the impact as it seemed to be a known problem. Three of our party ordered a glass of Australian bubbly and it was specified a number of times we only wanted three glasses. During the meal I suddenly became aware our glasses were being topped up and we had to pay for the bottle. The food and service quality was mixed and despite enjoying the company of our friends the restaurant experience was disappointing."
