"Eldest pub in england with dated proff. beautiful staff, eating was excellent, and each piece of the pub looked like a museum! we loved it there a public walk near for a walk (30 minute or 2h full of birds and wildlife). we have also learned a lot from the beautiful staff available. has tried a new Scottish beingeschirr and a fine ale! we'll be back!"

"A beautiful pub, enhanced by the local cricket on match days. A wonderful place for a drink, and the staff were absolutely lovely, very nice and friendly. BUT Unfortunately the food let the side down, avoid anything cooked. Sharing platters were great, but the burgers were horrendous, and it took over an hour and a half for food. Have a drink, but do not eat here if you want a nice meal."

"Great service, and a nice back garden to relax in on a sunny day. Food was okay. Beef Burger was overcooked. The fish and chips was nice, but the chips were not great. I would come back for drinks."
