I went down with a few kumpels for a few pints and was impressed by the bartender who had a top node I think his name was johnny so one up to the erde young lad easy to come along and very friendly. Great service, and a nice back garden to relax in on a sunny day. Food was okay. Beef Burger was overcooked. The fish and chips was nice, but the chips were not great. I would come back for drinks. View all feedback.
Lovely pub inside and out. Fantastic food and service in a woodland setting. Wish there were more just like it!
This was just a convenient location for a quick toilet stop. Lovely area though with walks around. Menu looked quite nice but I hadn't the time to stop for a bite to eat.

Came with mates for a nice drink and it was all quite peaceful then all of a sudden some old woman started singing karaoke and was so dominating over the pub. This was late afternoon so not many people in. Max 10. And this rude woman when she talked everyone could hear her and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Her signing wasn’t awful to be honest. But not a nice experience.
Lovely service, BUT some of the worst food I've eaten for a long time. All of our plates went back half-eaten, with anaemic potatoes, undercooked parsnips and an enormous piece of uncooked turkey skin that looked like a pair of tights. Thanks to the front of house staff though, because one of our party wasn't feeling well and another had a fall. They were very thoughtful and helpful
