Visited early Friday evening for dinner. Nice atmosphere, very helpful staff. Great pub food. I had the freshly made pizza that was excellent and only £10. My partner had the Bream which was also very good and came with freshly Cooked veggies and nee potatoes. All in all a great pub, with a simple but well served menu. Highly recommended View all feedback.
What holidaytime20 doesn't like about Combwich Anchor:
Very disappointed. Booked a table for five people. The only food available, burger or pizza, everything else was not available. I opted for the vegetarian/mushroom burger only to be told that too was off the menu no mushrooms. The rest of my party had burgers made from two cheap overcooked 2 oz burgers which had no flavour. The chips were either over cooked or soggy. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. View all feedback.

Great friendly staff, beautiful food often quite tempting Specials, but always worth a call to book. . Highly recommended.
