The pub itself appeared to of had an overhaul since my last visit and was very welcoming and inviting. The staff on the other hand were not so welcoming and were quite rude and miserable. When I last visited there was an employee, tattoo's and very little hair, who made us feel very welcome and had a smile on his face and could actually pour a decent pint. It 's right next to the very noisy M5. There was lots of bar waste visible outside. On walking in there was lots of copies of the conspiracy theorists ' publication 'The Light ' available for you, not appreciated. It has the most unimaginative menu going and they were sticky.
