"Such a beautiful lake, great food and rooms and lodging are comfortable, hike down the mountain is great, took us about 3 hours as we stopped and took alot of photos and chatted to people along the way...Id suggest poles to save your knees from...aching.. Reasonable prices.. I really recommend it as a over night hike to really see it all.. Up and down the mountain"

"Great hotel, great location and fantastic food. It is on a main road / rail, but there is little traffic after 6pm. We slept very well. Great location to explore the Walensee and Flumserberg region. The surprise was the quality of our dinner. It was excellent and delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. I can highly recommend."

"We went here with the family, and it was a little adventurous. first adventure to find the door! we made two full tours of the restaurant and then someone came out of a door that we thought was locked....Second adventure one of us forgetting their COVID pass (uops) ... so a quick trip back the hotel and then back to the restaurant. once we have settled on our table and the menu came and here was the next adventure. first the menu is in German, between us we speak English, French and Italian, but German was a struggle. the waitress (which was very friendly) also did not speak of our speeches. Nevertheless, she could explain the concept. the main menu is actually a wine card. they choose which weep they want to taste, and the chef offers a surprise menu to accompany each glass wein. Sounds great, but only one of us was a weintrink. so we went to the other menus, they are also organized by wein, and there are dishes suggested to adjust the wein, but now there are dishes to choose. we used google translate to navigate our way through the menu, at the end we chose steaks, with sweet and pommes. as soon as the riders arrived, the children were in there and their little faces were lit up. these are the best we ever tasted, they said. without any doubt this is one of the best meals I have eaten in the Swiss, and one of the best steaks I have eaten outside the usa. the service was excellent and very friendly we could easily communicate despite the language barrier. we would definitely go back if we were back in the opposite."
