The title says it all this is a proper English village pub that delivers all that you could hope for, with a very warm welcome and consistently good food. Best visited in winter when there is a fire in the huge fireplace View all feedback.

Not welcoming when we asked about ‘Eat out to help out’ scheme. Checked about gluten free options and ordered a veggie burger with cheese which was served with no cheese and a gluten containing bun, definitely not gluten free. Also ordered a chilli which the menu advertised as coming with sour cream and nachos, the nachos and sour cream were nowhere to be seen. Very very poor service and quality, clearly did not want...
