Food is very flavorful. I was disappointed when I saw the rice but it was so seasoned and delicious. I’m not sure what meat was served with the breakfast platter, it was supposed to be sausage. I though it was great, my kids not so much. The lady that take your order is very sweet and appreciative. The tacos didn’t include everything that we thought was included which was disappointing and since we got the food to go... View all feedback.
What Katherine Medina doesn't like about El Poblano Restuarant:
menu prices don't match what you're actually charged. Menus are covered in grease, dust, and are sticky. Orders taken from the kitchen are wildly incorrect. Food was tasteless and I got charge $4 each for Carne asada tacos filled with cilantro when the menu says 9.99 for 4 and online states 3.50. What little meat was there was dry and over cooked. probably due to the fact that there were no lights on in the restauran... View all feedback.
Believe the other low ratings. The food isn't horrible but we have tried a few times and had bad experiences each time from online ordering not working, having to pay cash only, lights not working and sitting for an hour for breakfast tacos with nobody ahead of us.
The lady was about the most friendliest person I've met in a restaurant! I went in with my children and she was very patient and very happy to wait on us. The food tasted homemade. It's a bonus for me if r go out to eat and it doesn't taste frozen or overly processed. I got the feeling most of their business was from grubhub or a similar delivery service. Except for a few people ordering to go, we were the only guests. They prefer you pay in cash, which is fine with me since credit card companies charge the business for each transaction. My kids loved the food, though so I was pleased! They each ordered breakfast and I had the bean and cheese pupusas. We got a chicken soup to go. All DELICIOUS!
Wonderful food, the tortas was absolutely amazing. As were the chicken tacos. The owners were very friendly and gave a wonderful family vibe. Yes the lights are out and that can be a bit off putting but if you can get past that then you’re in for some wonderful food.

I used to love this restaurant. It was the closest thing I found to authentic Mexican food in MD, which was pre-covid. Now? Mi Pueblo has my business while in MD. Let me add, people have been complaining about incorrect menu prices for over a year.
