We had heard and read good things about 18 Bay's cuisine, so it had to meet a high bar. It did, cleared the bar with ease. Happy to see Jimmy (formerly of Sweet Tomato) behind the bar and recommending wines, all reasonably priced. Our cocktails off their menu were exceptionally good and it went on from there. What Natasha doesn't like about 18 Bay:
The food was excellent. The wine pairings very good. My only complaints would be the noise level and a feeling of being rushed, even though we were there for almost two hours. I think it goes with the territory of the limited choice menu, no surprises and everything is set to go in the kitchen.
