"Visited twice while visiting family nearby. Once on Good Friday evening and again on Easter Sunday for lunch. Lovely cosy little pub with a friendly atmosphere. The landlady and locals made us feel very welcome. 10 of us went for lunch and the service was excellent. Great choice of food on the menu, and although we was a large group, nobody was waiting for course's and all was served promptly and together. Food was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be back again next time we visit. Lovely big beer garden out the back too which was well kept. If visiting in the summer would definitely sit out there for a few pints!"

"We had the weekly 3 course set menu and it was an absolutely mind blowing dining experience. I have been telling all my foodie friends and then some. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is impeccable. What a treat!
