"We always celebrate my birthday at La Dolce Vita and this time was extra special because we tried the six course surprise menu. What seem to be very simple ingredients are turned into gorgeous food the pasta course is the best I've ever had. This six course meal used to be only served for gastro evenings but now LDV is serving it all the time. Won't give away any more of the surprise be prepared to enjoy! Now I've just got to think of an excuse to go back for another surprise."

"Dissapointed about worte. first time we had a departure from mischu, I ordered a king prawn balti, for the price we paid I expected more than a watery sauce and king prawns, no wobble, tomato or anything else. what a waste when geld. husband had a madras who was mild and had no deep when taste and only meat pieces. if the previous reviews are correct, then this restaurant is on the hill. extremely disappointed and we will go next time and get better quality for less money x"

"I have been coming to Peppers regularly for many years and have always had excellent food and outstanding friendly professional service. Our visit last night was exceptional. Although very busy service was prompt and our food arrived in good time. 5 of us had differing mains and a number of sides, rice and breads. Everything beautifully cooked and presented we all enjoyed every bit. Prices have increased but still good value for money. Remains my favourite Indian restaurant"
