Appleyards Delicatessen - Shropshire

Probably one of the best Deli’s I have visited in the UK and consistently good every week I go. Meat and cheeses are up there with the best from Bologna Tuscany as these are our favourites. Don’t be put off by the queues and people in the shop. All good things come to those who wait as they say. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They usually have a lot going on so don’t think they’re rude, they are just trying to serve everyone. Highly recommended if you want proper food and reminder of being on holiday in Europe, there’s something for everyone

If you enjoy food then this is a MUST! Where else are you going to get Speck for your Austrian cooking? Or such delicious Pastrami? Plus wide range of cheeses and Spanish Italian delicacies. We heartily recommend this shop.

I was looking for some Shrewsbury Biscuits, and Appleyards was recommended. What an amazing delicatessen! Such a great selection. There were so many different types of cheeses there. I wish it was located near where I live. I would be a regular visitor!

Staff very knowledgeable and friendly, stock always fresh displayed very well , the choice of cheese excellent, they also have a stall bin the market which is more oriented to meat and pie's fab choice of bacon.
