"Today was my first visit to the Old Coffee Pot in 2023. I was not disappointed, the service was great. There has been some minor menu changes and so today I tried the new ham hock potato cakes with a savoury lentil and bean stew. It was fresh, healthy and tasted wonderful. Well done Darren and Rachel, another great lunch experience. Plus I opted to bring my piece of lemon meringue pie home for supper always fabulous thank you all"

"These guys literally saved me from starvation! I had a blow out on the A5 in the middle of nowhere and the aa had abandoned me for over 12 hours. These heroes not only delivered food and drink but the best kebab that I have ever had they also included a free litre of water that saved me from certain dehydration in the middle of night when the aa decided to not show up. I cannot recommend these guys any more!! Hero’s "

"Driving through Shropshire en route to Glastonbury festival we came across The Last Inn, we rang ahead to see if we could park our campervan in the car park overnight and Jeremy and Karen were most accommodating, after a drink and a chat Jeremy showed us around the pub which is delightful and quaint with a lovely refurbished function room, we had a great night drinking and chatting to the locals, retiring to our van for a great nights sleep, the only shame was that we didn't have time to stay for sunday lunch which smelled incredible as we pulled away, we will definitely return!"

"Came upon this pub trawling trip advisor for a pub with good reviews for lunch whilst waiting for holiday accommodation to be available. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Food good pub grub large portions and amazing chips. Staff took time to explain nearest local food...shops. Only complaint no heating and this was the main reason we did not return for Sunday lunch which I’m sure would have been home cooked and fab."

"Four of us stopped after a nearby golf day. refurbished. the staff was courteous and attentive, eating was delicious and very good value. my colleagues commented that the camp was good. my guinness was not allowed to calm down, but tasted in order. next time we're in the opposite, we'll go back. well made young on white lions!"

"I think the experience in my own house could be a little better than the take-away experience. the meat, regardless of what they choose, is always overcooked, dry and chewing, but the sauces are beautiful and authentic. the broth nuts are dry, peasant and tasteless, the vegetable beside dishes are never very good. in comparison to restaurants in shrewsbury I would give it one, but in oswestry they are probably the best that is regrettable."
