This is the best pizza I had outside of Manhattan! Yelp is saying it's closed however I went in November and they were still open. So i am not sure that is right! I told them it was my first time and they gave me free garlic knots, oh my!!! Amazing!!! I got the chicken parm pizza and it was incredible. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Pizza was dry and overcooked. Had a burnt taste to it. Customer service not good. Older man, assume he was the owner, was very cranky and practically tossed my food onto the counter. Witnessed him being rude to another customer. read more.

Buyer beware!! They close early many times so you can't order. It has happened several times. If you're going to do that then change your times online!!!

"Each time I come here , Gina and her wonderful staff make that visit better than the one before and I do not know how she consistently be so enthusiastic to make you feel special and wanted. The whole place is special the food,the decor and the staffing but don't wait for a special occasion to visit . It feels so much like I'm visiting a friends or relative's house, I almost feel guilty not bringing a present . Run , don't walk to this place. It is probably one of the top best places to eat in Putnam county and introduce yourself to Gina .The next time you come in, she will make you feel like family."

"I thought this restaurant would be a wonderful experience if I was looking for something I should eat while I visited my older elders in rockland county. my father was concerned to go after kentucky fried chicken, I never had a sway on her food choices, and I wanted to stop in a super market to get some hummus to dinner. on a laune I decided to drive a bit further on 9w to check a small stripe mall and to my surprise good roots was there and open for the next 10 minutes. it presents itself as an almost food juice place, but to my surprise the daily special was a vegan reuben! there is nothing I love more than a reub! the flavors were noticeable and the sweet potato friries were also fantastic. the menu had all my beloved comfort food and some special surprises to match the different cultures of the owners. the staff was friendly and helpful, the prices were reasonable and the foot was fantastic. as a vegan I want them to do so well so please if they are close to this place in rockland, maybe to drive on the cat kills, stop and try them out. x nikki"
