"We stopped in for a late lunch and looked at their all day breakfast menu page and ordered Eggs Benedict . Mine was traditional and my wife had Mexican flavor ( spice ) . The sauce was just terrible and salty for mine I asked the waitress if the bacon was back bacon and she replied yes but it was just regular bacon , half the plate was full of potatoes deep fried . No imagination no garnish poor presentation . We left feeling ripped off $36 later."

"Sidney BC has one great restaurant on the main drive at Bistro Suisse. Actually it was one of the best meals served us after dining at many island eateries and resorts on this BC Ferry Vacation. Clean, comfortable with professional service. Our choices of the Quiche du jour and the Schnitzel were perfectly executed. It's so nice to be taken care of by a caring staff. The whole experience was delightful. Let your next Sidney dining out adventure start here at the Bistro Suisse and chances are you'll return again and again."

"What an awesome place to have lunch before catching the ferry. We called for a reservation for 8 girls and luckily we did as the place was packed. The decor and atmosphere are great. The waitress took into consideration that we were short on time and delivered our food in a super timely manner. The caesars were delicious, the clam chowder has to be tried and did not disappoint any of us. My friend had the Peanut Butter burger and she told me it was one of the best burgers that she has ever had! We will be back and can't wait to try other items on the menu. Thank you for such a nice experience at the end of our girls weekend away."

"Came here for a drink and a bite to eat the other day while the kiddos were with their grandparents. There were so many wine flights to choose from we had a hard time picking! The food menu is small but more than I expected from a little place. We got the duck charcuterie board and it was so good! Lovely experience and we will be coming back again when we are in Sydney next. Next time I think we will sit outside as the alley is very nice and covered too."

"We chose Haro's for a special birthday lunch and were all glad we did. Haro's was recommended several times to us; one couple were on the last leg of a Canadian vacation and said the food here was the best they had anywhere. The atmosphere is really nice and the service was wonderful. Peter, our waiter, was great and brought "Happy Birthday" sticky pudding for Mom."

"Harvest Rd. Is a true example of farm to table as it is literally situated on Michells farm where they get most of their fresh ingredients from. The amazingly flavourful beef and the vegetables are from the surrounding five hundred acres that is Michells farm. Even the food wraps, trays and utensils are composted on site and reintroduced into the fields of the farm via their huge composting operation just down the road. The burgers we had were one of the best I’ve eaten, and believe me, I’ve eaten a lot of burgers. The fries were thick and hand pulled; Deep fried to perfection. The coleslaw was fresh and refreshing. Chatting with the owners, Jenni and Brendan was fantastic, hearing their story and seeing their pride in what they do really made the whole meal an experience. If you care about where your food comes from, care about sustainability and love great food, visit Harvest Rd Grill."

"What a neat-looking place, nice porch with tables for enjoying a coffee or pastry or sandwich. The parking situation is not so good, however. It was scary trying to back up from the front entrance as it is right on the highway and at a curved part, so the oncoming traffic may not see us backing up. There is no way to turn around in the tiny parking lot -- you have to back up. At any rate, the experience with the food was "one good and one not so good". I really loved the sandwich but was underwhelmed with the Nanaimo bar. It was quite busy so guess it much be good."
