"One of the best restaurants in Siena! During our 4 nights in Siena we decided to come back a second time. Do not waste your time and money on the tourist overpriced restaurants in Piazza del Campo, but go to this restaurant. They serve delicious local cuisine food, definitely recommend their different wine acids and slowly cooked egg, all for a decent price! The hotel is located a few minutes from Piazza, in one of the side streets."

"My wife and I went for lunch, seeing as it was rated very highly. We ordered beef tartare, eggplant with burrata, and the truffle pasta. The beef tartare tasted spoiled and was inedible- after taking one bite I put it aside as I felt as though I was going to be sick. It looked more like finely chopped hamburger meat that was close to room temperature. The eggplant with burrata was soggy, with the water from the burrata spilling over the plate. Finally, the pasta was basically a spaghetti version of macaroni and cheese with a mound of shaved black truffle on top. We ate about half of it and then promptly asked for the check, wanting to remove ourselves as soon as possible."

"The restaurant is hard to find, especially in the night, the roads at the edge of Siena, but it is worth it! beautiful garden and romantic ambiente, and eating was some of the best and most creative I have ever experienced. the highlight was the vegan foie gras (nozzled with apple, pesto and red wine reduction). the chickpea flour pizza with zucchini was also amazing. the menu is in Italian, but the staff is very helpful to explain which items are vegan (multiple antipasti, primi, secondi and dolce). they use fresh ingredients from their garden and the menu changes seasonal. innovative and unique experience!"
