the location of the hut is unique. to the hütte leads mostly a wide forest road, only the last 15 min have to be walked over a steep walkway. we were with shoes and bad condition already after 45 min at the hut. the hut has a very large south-east terrace that invites to stay long. eating is typically Austrian and of high quality at a super price.
