"With starters of sinfully delicious crab claws with garlic butter and melt in the mouth goats cheese and hazelnut salad our tastebuds were awakened, we could not begin to anticipate what our main courses would taste like. We were not disapointed. From the salmon dish to traditional fish and chips, all were attractively presented and tasted amazing. Accompanied by a fantastic house chardonnay one which every good restauranteur should have. Good choice by the owner!! Friendly and attentive staff and a warm relaxing environment this 'gourmet hotspot ' is so well worth a visit whilst in Doonbeg."

"Just had dinner here tonight, cannot praise it enough. I had chowder to start and it was really good, so tasty. I had the seafood pie for main course and it was better than great, I love my food served hotter than hot and this was perfect, it arrived in the dish it was cooked in and piping hot, chock full of fish, a rich sauce and lovely seasoned potato on top, a large serving that I couldn't finish. I didn't taste my husbands food because I was too busy with my own but he had the brie and if there had been a pattern on the plate I think he'd have scraped it off while getting the last bit of sauce off the plate, there was nothing left for me to taste, he'd the burger as a main and said it was delicious, the meat was tender and tasty, the accompaniments perfect. Neither of us were able for dessert but we will be back."
