"Amazing olde pub had to duck down in some places as the ceilings were so low!! Great food. Great service. Great manager. So happy we found this place, which is not local to us and had a 50mins drive to thank goodness we were not disappointed. Will definitely go back and try and tie in a nice walk before or after."

"We booked to have food here on a Saturday night and it was brilliant. There were 4 of us with a baby and dog in tow, and we were made to feel so welcome. The food was fantastic! Starters, mains, deserts, cocktails and wine were all so delicious and came out in a very timely manner. In short, wonderful pub run by excellent people! Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5"

"Came here. to eat on Saturday for a pre-party. I was really impressed. we had the plate for 2 and a bottle of red and tried a few different cheese and meat that I had not tried before. it was all delicious and I will come back soon"

"Lovely surroundings with a big green space outside.Inside is set out to a high standard and waiting/bar staff suitablly the same.We went on a Sunday and as weather was nice wanted to sit outside.A member of staff came outside with a menu each.as requested,she said its roast dinner and if you are eating you need to sit somewhere else!I understand it was a Sunday and alot of people want a roast dinner but we were just after a light bite as were having evening meal later.I was shocked that the Roast was the only option!!They could have at least offered wraps or light bites for those not wanting a roast.Very disappointed,mostly as they sell themselves as The Pear Dining Pub !!"

"Ordered for first time from here, food arrived cold and undercooked. Chicken was pink all the way through. Both meals were disgusting. Phoned the restraint to be told the chicken is cooked and has all been cooked through out the day and he had no other complaints so it was fine and nothing he could do. STAY AWAY from here"
