Very impressedHad heard rave reviews of this place from when it was in a previous location so we were hanging to try it.
Best chinese meals in the north of adelaide with a big smile from the owner every time.
Had a meal here for my wifes birthday it was a good feed but the room felt cramped and squashed in ... But the meal was good
Fresh and tasty Asian style take away. Try the spring rolls- one of my favourites. Szechwan steak had really good spice level.
Disappointing experience, tried the All you can eat smorgasbord, never ever again it was very bland and I've had better Asia food in cheap and nasty food courts...

"We dropped in lodge on Thursday night. it was easy to book online and we could even order our food and drinks directly from the table via our mobile phones. we ordered the halloumi fries, veggies sticky pig bell. the black bell was amazing and the rest was really good. the only problem that we had was when we asked the waitress not to delete our table (we only dig out on a fast zigarette.) that was all in order, but when we came back to our eating was clear, and other people had already set up on our stand - that was annoying because we were only finished half our meal times and there were many others so much free! they have reimbursed us a meal to give one dessert. the desserts were beautiful. simple toy up, but still quite annoying. I think we're gonna go back because it was pretty good to eat, and the waitress was nice to us, even if she got up. shit happens, I think lol"

"The food here is delicious. We had the chicken schnitzel, lamb cutlets, and duck legs. They were all great. The lamb was a bit fatty for my tastes, but the duck was simply amazing. Highly recommended."

"Nice warm atmosphere on a cold wet night. The menu was a little surprising as lots of items weren't traditional English grub. Salt & Lemon Pepper Squid for example. We ordered Yorkshire Pudding with gravy as an entree to share. Pudding was a good size for sharing. However when we cut it in half, the base was about 2cm thick and quite solid; not the light airy pudding we expected. It was also cold in the middle. I suspect a microwave was involved. For main course I had Cod & Chips with Mushy Peas. The cod was okay but a little dry. The batter was overlooked and very crispy, not like English batter at all. My friend had the pork roll with roast potatoes, apple sauce and crackling. The pork roll was like a thin foot long sub and was quite nice. The crackling was oversalted to the point of being inedible. We both left half of our meals. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and the service was good but we won't be returning due to quality of food."

"This is a very good restaurant in a great setting on the grounds at Newmans Nursery.<br/>We went for breakfast and it was brilliant. Everything was well presented freshly made and beautifully plated.<br/>The coffee just as it should be. There is some thought put into the coffee they serve here and how it comes to the table. This actually tastes great fresh beans and not burnt or overly bitter (European background so good coffee defines the day)<br/>The poached eggs were perfect and did not come out of a poaching bag! The beetroot hollandaise looks vibrant on the plate and tasted just right.<br/>Poppyseed scones made a great base for the eggs and the accompanying garnishes, wilted greens and other sides were as they should be perfectly fresh and tasty.<br/>The edible flowers and herbs were a beautiful touch and tasty too!<br/>The plate was generous and welcoming. Unfortunately i did not take a photo on this occasion as we were too busy enjoying our meals but we will be back!"

"Surya Indian staff are lovely. The meals are very generous, tasty, fresh and traditional. The meat has always been tender and naans are large. Having eaten from a fair few indian resteraunts i would rate this as one of the best in adelaide and taste wise on par with the 5 star silver spoon establishments and at an unpretentious price. A meal deal for two will leave 2 people very satisfied and with leftovers."
