Excellent customer service and delicious sweet and savory piroshkis! The coffee is really good also! The sweet gal working the window at the drive thru was so helpful and kind! View all feedback.
What Kristi Goldsberry doesn't like about Piroshki's Coffee And Tea Shoppe:
Very friendly staff and nice ambiance! However, the blueberry cheesecake banana fosters tasted old. We actually exchanged the cheesecake for a piroshki because it was dry hard as a rock. My 7 year old could not eat it and was hungry. Piroshki was good but not fresh, they reheat it. View all feedback.
A huge thank you to the Visitors Center staff for recommending this treasure! They suggested we take our 4 kids here for tea and dress up. With 2 5yos, a 2yo and 1yo in tow, we thought it would be a neat place for lunch, we weren't disappointed. They do offer a drive thru, but if you have kids who enjoy a tea party, you can't come here and not take them inside! Pulling up, it looks like a gingerbread cottage. Once inside, there is a display case with cheesecakes and pastries. We sat upstairs where there are larger tables, a restroom and a wall of fancy hats for the kids to try on. They also have feather boas, straw hats, jewelry and more accessories to try on! The tea party was $19.99 and included a pot of tea (though we opted for lemonade), and 3 piroshkis. Not a bad deal as each piroshki is $3.99 a la carte. We had bacon/potato, sausage/cabbage and chicken/mushroom. Of the 3, we preferred the bacon/potato and sausage/cabbage over the chicken/mushroom. They're all served with a delicious garlic and herb sauce. We also had an apple Danish, a blueberry lemon muffin and a strawberry rhubarb muffin. All 3 were great, though the kids definitely liked the blueberry lemon the most!
This is such a cute coffee shop. The interior is elegantly decorated and the cashier was very knowledgeable. The owner is very excitable and talkative, though she doesn't always understand what is being said, since English is not her first language, so please be aware of that. We tried the pelmini soup, chicken and rice soup, and potato and cheese piroshki, of which the pelmini soup was my favorite (though they were all good). There's also a nice selection of tea. They do run out of various items since it's all homemade, so for instance they didn't have borscht the day we went. All around it's a very homey place. I highly recommend it as a fun lunch stop.
What a lovely treat to stop for a coffee/mocha and piroshki's. It's so cute and the staff was so pleasant! A gem in the woods
I can not believe how delicious this food is! I was so freaking happy biting into that chicken and mushroom piroshki...and then that cherry cheese pastry?! Oh my god. Heaven. Will go back. Every time I'm on the Peninsula.
Horrible customer service!the lady was like totally lost. She did not know how much was the price of a simple espresso. She did not if she had soy milk and I could see the milk from the from the desk.
