I keep hoping this place will come close to earning its name. But each time we decide to give it another try, we are disappointed. The donuts are still no better than Safeway AND they are small and overpriced. The staff is still average and still tried to stack my donuts in the box (you never stack donuts the tops stick to the bottoms! . And the atmosphere is still cold and dull. We visited this place no less than 4 times a week we were in the peninsula Kenya. Excellent pastries and efficient friendly service every time. It was always full and busy, but Anna (the lady who organizes the line and helps you order) was amazing. She moved the line, made you smile and made you generally welcome. We loved the moose is Loose!
This Donut Shop is the best! The service is always wonderful and the treats are always so DELICIOUS!
I love this bakery! I go every time I visit! I used to be a baker and really appreciate the obvious devotion to quality here. I like the variety of treats offered as well as their unique breads and rolls. The moose theme is a fantastic bonus!
Having lived and traveled throughout Western Canada and Alaska, this shop has by far, the BEST donuts! Don’t let the price shock you, considering they’re made fresh with whole ingredients, not processed dough that’s been shipped up the Alcan like other Alaskan donuts.
